So it begins

For any of you out there who know me, you probably know that I have significant issues with both facebook and myspace, and have wanted to delete both of my profiles on those sites for some time now. I deleted my myspace page awhile ago, but haven't completely trashed my facebook page yet. Why, I am not entirely sure of, considering it pisses me off significantly more sometimes. Because of these things, I have always wanted to start my own personal blog/page; One devoid of news feeds, bullshit drama and notifications, and endless 'vampire invitations' (for the last time, NO, I dont want to start biting chumps!). So while I have just started this today, feel free to leave comments telling me why I suck or not. hopefully it can be a way for me to get it all out there; pointless or not. And for all of you self-confessed facebook-ites out there, I will be importing my posts onto my facebook page. So, anyways.....that's that. Hope you all (skinner) enjoy

So for the last six months, I have been living at home while I am student teaching. While there are definite positives and negatives to this last half-year, one thing always seems to come into my mind. While I am at 'home', I no longer have a place that is 'it' for me anymore, unless I get married someday. Clear as mud, I know. I have always been a somewhat nostalgiac person, and being around my hometown and home for so long just gets me thinking about it all. None of this is me being negative or sad, I have just thought about this kind of stuff more recently. I know that this doesn't make much sense, so I am going to let my favorite scene from my favorite movie do all of the explaining for me.

Hooray! Facebook is creepy.

I'm a little sad you didn't choose 'Detlef Schrempf' as your song of the week. Maybe I'll start choosing a 'Live '98 Player of the Week' and add it to my blog . . . starting, of course, with Tim Breaux (pronounced 'Brox').
